If the vehicle you are considering to do a conversion on is your only family vehicle or only transport, you should consider a backup vehicle before we start doing the conversion on your vehicle.

Suspensions

Note: We strongly recommend to do the fitment of the suspensions to your vehicle or bare Chassis at our premises, as it requires special Alignment adjustments. Should you opt to source a 3rd party installer, we will gladly assist, at a cost to the buyer/owner or installers account. 

Suspensions exclude Brake lines, Cables, Steering Rods, Knuckles and Alignment

Attention: Any deviation from Alondra Standard Suspensions, Including Cross member, Uprights, Hub Knuckles, Brake System & Control Arms, will be subjected to further costs incurred, due to more hours spent on changes. Should you alter/modify any part on the Alondra suspension in any way or install any parts that exceed the specifications, will void any claims and /or warranties.

A total of 70% deposit required when T&C's accepted by Client.

Payment works in 5 steps:

• Step 1: You contact us for a rough estimate on cost for the Suspension you are looking for. This estimate is provided free of charge, and will give an overview of what we would provide in both products and services but will not go into specifics. These estimates are usually within 10% of the detailed estimate price.

• Step 2: You agree to the rough estimate and want to schedule your Suspension conversion. We take a 20% deposit to secure your spot in the schedule. This will cover expenses already incurred. If you decide at any time to CANCEL your conversion, we will refund 35% of the 20% deposit. The non-refundable % covers the hours spent generating the detailed estimate. RESCHEDULING backwards does NOT forfeit your deposit, ONLY CANCELLATION. Please understand, we get numerous requests for Suspensions estimates every day. This policy is to weed out those who are serious from the window shoppers. If you change your project goals or any scope changes, then the price will increase with a minimum of R2800 as more hours are spent on the changes which affects the schedule of the next client order.

• Step 3: Approximately 2 weeks prior to your order, we require a further 50% payment of the total detailed estimate price. The total deposit amount will be 70% in total.

• Step 4: We photo document your entire Suspension build and keep a folder in Dropbox and our Facebook page up to date, so you can monitor your project's progress from wherever you are.

• Step 5: When your Suspension is finished and you come to pick it up (or arrange transport) we require the final 30% payment.  Suspension/s or vehicle will only be released once payment reflects in Bank account.

Disclosure:

Payment for your Suspension is required in EFT, or cash only.

No fitment will be performed outside the premises of Alondra Customs.

Please take note: It takes around 40 working days (Mondays to Fridays) per suspension set (IRS & IFS) to be manufactured, as each suspension is unique to the type & make of vehicle. We will do our best to supply ordered systems in the shortest time as possible.

Safe use of the product:

The client will be required to sign a declaration whereby he accepts responsibility that a motor vehicle is a dangerous item and he will not be allowed to claim against the seller if he injures himself or someone else in using the vehicle after signing such a declaration.

 

Engine Conversion
Payment works in 5 steps:

These estimates are usually within 10% of the detailed estimate price.

• Step 2: You agree to the rough estimate and want to schedule your conversion. We take a 20% deposit to secure your spot in the schedule. After receiving the deposit, we will provide you with a detailed project cost estimate, breaking down individual parts prices, labour costs, etc. This will cover expenses all the way down to fluids, bolts, nuts, hoses. If you decide at any time to CANCEL your conversion, we will refund 35% of the schedule deposit. The non-refundable amount covers the hours spent generating the detailed estimate. RESCHEDULING does NOT forfeit your deposit, ONLY CANCELLATION. Please understand, we get numerous requests for conversion estimates every day. This policy is to weed out those who are serious from the window shoppers. If you change your project goals and those changes require a completely new estimate to be generated (i.e. 5.4L engine swap changed to 6.0L engine swap) then the non-refundable portion of your deposit will increase as more hours are spent on estimate revisions. Minor changes are exempt from this.

• Step 3: Approximately 4 weeks prior to your car's scheduled arrival time, we require 70% payment of the total detailed estimate price. This will allow us to get your motor in house and prepped for install, as well as many other odds and ends required for the conversion. This way when your car arrives, we are ready to go and not waiting for parts to arrive.

• Step 4: We photo document your entire build and keep a folder in Dropbox and our Facebook page up to date, so you can monitor your project's progress from wherever you are. Once your project hits the 75% complete mark (typically when engine is built in the chassis, but wiring/plumbing is still to be done) we require the next 25% payment.

• Step 5: When your car is finished and you come to pick it up (or arrange transport) we require the final 30% payment. Vehicle will be released once payment reflects in Bank account.

Disclosure:

By no more than 7 days must your purchase be brought back to Alondra Customs for inspection, only then will you be handed a start-up guarantee if found that your purchase was correctly fitted.

Guarantee is null & void, if upon inspection it is found that the engine was stripped, overheated, over revved, or misused, or the vehicle was not brought back within the specified time for inspection. No claim if engine/gearbox was worked on at another dealer/workshop or for consequential damages or labour charges, towing costs, vehicle hire, and downtime and / or claims for any costs whatsoever nature arising out of the exchange of any goods purchased. Do not strip or disassemble your engine, gearbox or diff, should you experience a problem, as this will void your guarantee on the engine or gearbox. Please contact us  for the corrective procedure. No guarantee on turbo’s and engine attachments. (Eg. Starter, alternator, diesel pump, carburettor, water pump, injectors , etc,etc). All service items have to be serviced or replaced with new and is for the account of the purchaser.

Please bear in mind that you are buying a second hand item as there will always be an element of risk. We only supply a start-up guarantee on all used and imported engines.

 
IN THE EVENT OF RELATED PROBLEMS AFTER DELIVERY THE CLIENT SHOULD RETURN THE VEHICLE TO OUR PREMISES, WE DO NOT COLLECT AND DELIVER VEHICLES. FAILING TO COMPLY WILL FOREFEIT ANY GUARANTEES or WARRANTIES!

In the event of some problems re-occurring please return the vehicle again until the matter could be resolved.
 
In the event of doing a conversion on your vehicle, you need to remember that ALL OEM Factory Guarantees will be forfeited, even on a Radiator, AC, etc.
You need also to remember by instructing us to do the conversion on your vehicle, you give us the permission to modify any mechanical or electrical systems to make the conversion work.
We can only guarantee the Terms & Conditions of our suppliers on parts and engines used. The engines and gearboxes only have a starting guarantee. We bench test every engine prior to the fitment.
We strive to keep our customers happy and to keep the customers returning due to satisfaction. We also do our professional work to international standards and sometimes it takes some time to complete the conversion in the shortest times possible. We also request not to press us for faster times to complete the work, as that will result to sub-standard work.
We serve a number of customers who are very important to us and each conversion or build be considered “First come First serve” basis.
Please keep in mind that that engine conversions excludes Suspension, Brakes and Differential upgrades, unless it is specified in the agreement.
